Our Role as a Hosting Platform

SiteLive is a multi-tenant SaaS hosting platform. We provide tools for businesses to create and manage their own websites. We do not create, edit, or control the content published by our users (tenants).

As a hosting provider, SiteLive qualifies for Safe Harbor protection, which shields us from liability for user-uploaded content — provided we respond promptly to valid takedown notices. We take this obligation seriously.

What to Include in Your Notice

To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice, your email must include all of the following:

Your identification — Full name, address, phone number, and email address
Description of the copyrighted work — What work was copied (title, URL, or description)
URL of the infringing content — The exact URL where the infringing material appears
Good faith statement — "I have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law"
Accuracy statement — "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner"
Your signature — Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent

What Happens After You Report

Notice Received (0h) We acknowledge receipt of your notice via email.

Review (0–24h) Our team reviews the notice for completeness and validity.

Action Taken (24–48h) If valid, the infringing content is removed and the account holder is notified. If incomplete, we contact you for clarification.

Counter-Notice Period (10–14 business days) The account holder may submit a counter-notice. If no counter-notice is received, the content remains removed.

Counter-Notice (For Website Owners)

If you are a SiteLive user whose content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice.

Your counter-notice must include:

Your identification (name, address, phone, email)
Identification of the removed content and its location before removal
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
Your consent to jurisdiction and your signature

Repeat Infringers

Accounts with multiple substantiated copyright complaints will be permanently terminated in accordance with our Terms of Service.

User Responsibility

All users of SiteLive agree in our Terms of Service that:

They hold all necessary rights for any content they upload
They are solely responsible for their published content
They indemnify SiteLive from any copyright infringement claims arising from their content
Uploading stock images, photographs, or media without a valid license is strictly prohibited
